What do the tours include?
o An energetic and knowledgeable tour guide
o A visit to three or more establishments
o An in depth, behind the scenes look at one (or two of our stops
o Pick up and drop off at our designated meeting spot
o A fun group of like-minded adventurers
o More locally crafted samples than we should probably give you
o A cooler full of water to ensure the next day is good a one
What should I bring?
o Valid ID - Must be 18 years of age or older
o Extra cash - to buy your favourite libation or continue the night out on the town
Are there minimum passenger requirements for tours to run?
All tours have a six passenger minimum. If by the day before your tour we don't have four people booked we'll make sure to call you to offer you some options.
Why buy a tour when I can go for free?
Purchasing a tour with us ensures you get to see behind the curtain of our brewery partners. It also means you’re free to drink as you please without the worry of arranging transportation!
How can I pay?
Tour payments are processed online through our website which accepts Visa, MasterCard and American Express, or Paypal (a PayPal account is not required in order to make payment). Please inquire by email if you need to make alternate arrangements.
How do I purchase a tour?
General tours can booked online through our Booking Calendar. Private tours can be arranged by contacting us directly.
What is the largest tour group you can accommodate?
We can accommodate groups of 14 in one van or up to 28 for a private party if both vans are available.
Is there a minimum age?
All tour attendees must be at least 18 years of age and hold valid photo ID.
What’s not included?
Additional beer, growlers, merchandise and any gratuity you’d like to provide for the breweries or tour guides are also not included.
Do you have gift certificates?
Yes! Gift Certificates can be purchased through the gift certificates link on our website.
What breweries will we visit?
With new breweries opening all the time in Winnipeg we can assure you that every tour will be slightly different. Our current tours operate with the following partners: Little Brown Jug, Torque Brewing, Half Pints, Brazen Hall, One Great City, Stone Angel Brewing, Nonsuch, TransCanada Brewing and One Great City!
Can I transfer my spot to friends?
Yes, you can transfer your spot to friends at no extra charge! You will need to advise us of the change and provide their names and contact info.
What if I’m late?
We will try to wait (if we can) but also need to be mindful to not keep other guests waiting too long. You're welcome to join the tour at the first brewery location but transportation expenses will not be covered by WTT.
Do I have to pay for brewery samples?
No way! Samples are included in your tour cost.
Can I purchase beer or growlers on the tour?
You can certainly purchase beer to consume after the tour is complete!
Is food available on the tour?
We’ve arranged for a meal to be provided with one of our partnerships. Any special dietary requirements can be accommodated at the brewery.
Can I drink in the van?
No, drinking alcohol while inside a vehicle is against Manitoba's Liquor Law. Luckily, the breweries are all relatively close together!
Do I need to print my reservation and bring it?
Nah, you just need a piece of valid ID.
What is your refund policy?
Within 15 days or more of your tour - 85% refund
Within 14 days of your tour - 50% refund
Within 7 days of your tour - Tour credit only
Cancellations within 72 hours of tour - No refunds and no credits
No Shows - No refunds and no credits
Do you have a different refund policy for groups?
Yes, due to the nature of group bookings we require a non-refundable deposit of $500 at time of booking. All group events must be paid for in full 7 days before the date of the tour.
When booking a private party - how long do you hold the date?
We hold the date for a months time at which time we will release the booking to enable other parties to book. You have the option of paying a $500 deposit to hold the date and time and the balance is required the week leading up to your event.
